IMRIS to Exhibit at 2016 Congress of Neurological Surgeons Annual Meeting

MINNEAPOLIS, September 21, 2016 – IMRIS, Deerfield Imaging, the global leader in intraoperative imaging solutions, invites attendees of the upcoming Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) annual meeting to visit IMRIS’ booth 1109 to learn more about its expertise in designing and integrating intraoperative imaging modalities into hybrid ORs. The CNS meeting is Sept. 26-28 in San Diego, Ca.

IMRIS’ products give surgeons on-demand access to real-time data and state-of-the-art imaging during the procedure in the operating room (OR) without moving the patient. IMRIS Surgical Theatres are equipped with either high-field magnetic resonance (MR) or 64-slice computed tomography (CT) that moves to the patient on ceiling-mounted rails. The company also designs and manufactures proprietary head fixation devices, horseshoe headrests, imaging coils, and OR tables for use in this unique and multifunctional intraoperative environment.

The theme for the CNS Annual Meeting is “Advance, Adapt, Achieve” and will feature live surgery demonstrations and clinical trial updates. The meeting is designed to help participants advance their skills and knowledge, adapt to a changing medical and regulatory landscape, and achieve their goals for their practice and their career.

The IMRIS intraoperative solution is used in over 70 ORs worldwide and more than 22,000 patients have benefited from procedures performed in IMRIS Surgical Theatres.
