Andrew M. Flanagan – President and Chief Executive Officer

Andrew M. Flanagan is the President and Chief Executive Officer of IMRIS and a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Andy oversees the global management of IMRIS and the success of the company’s leading intraoperative solutions. He leads a seasoned management team dedicated to creating and delivering patient-centricity, healthcare innovations that are safe, effective and proven to improve patient lives. Andy’s emphasis on customer success drives the company’s growth strategy.

Andy has an extensive and diverse leadership background having worked in senior roles for Siemens, SAP and Xerox. In addition, he founded an enterprise software company and led an early stage digital health company as the CEO. While at Siemens, Andy was the Senior Vice President of health services sales and business management within the customer solutions division of Siemens Healthcare, North America. In this role, he drove sales performance, services execution and customer satisfaction of the $1B+ Siemens healthcare software business in the United States.

Andy earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nevada, Management School of Business, Reno, Nev., and his Master’s in health informatics at Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill.

Robert Korn – Sr. Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing

With more than 25 years of experience in the Health Care Industry focused in medical device sales and marketing, Korn is a highly distinguished leader with a track record of successfully growing companies and market share while cultivating long-term relationships with healthcare customers and partners. He has an impressive background in developing and implementing best-in-class sales and marketing strategies for both Fortune 500 and start-up companies. Korn joins IMRIS from MRI Interventions, Inc. where he was accountable for all sales and clinical activities in the United States and successfully increased revenue and account installation base for their flagship product, a MRI guided navigation system that enables numerous clinical interventions in the cranial based neurosurgical arena. Rob earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH.

Sarah Fyfe – Vice President of Talent & Culture

As Vice President of Talent and Culture, Sarah Fyfe is responsible for cultivating and building high performing teams to deliver against IMRIS’ vision and strategy. Through managing internal relations, building benchmark talent pools and fostering organizational effectiveness, her work focuses on driving a cohesive culture in which both employees and IMRIS thrive.

Across multiple industries, Sarah has a broad variety of human capital management experience including Organizational Design & Effectiveness, Recruiting, Employee Relations, Total Rewards and Learning & Development. Most recently, Sarah comes from Hallmark Cards, Inc. where she held various roles within a broad array of Human Resource disciplines.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, CA.

Peter Simpson – Sr. Vice President, Research & Development

Peter is a successful R&D leader with vast experience delivering innovative products, focusing on cross-functional development and business line portfolio management processes throughout multiple industries and businesses. Peter has been in the medical device industry for over 13 years, and has held several leadership roles at benchmark organizations like Baxter, Covidien, and Philips.

Most recently, Peter held several leadership roles at Philips within the Diagnostic Imaging business units, including leading R&D for the X-ray business unit from Hamburg, Germany and the MR Advanced Clinical Solutions team in the U.S. He was also a co-founder and R&D leader for the Radiology Solutions business unit, and in his most recent assignment as Sr. Director, Diagnostic Imaging Idea-to-Market Team, Peter was responsible for improving strategic customer engagement, Diagnostic Imaging business positioning, and critical product quality improvements.

Peter earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Product Design at Stanford University.

Christopher Monnot – Vice President of Finance/Controller

As Vice President of Finance/Controller, Christopher is essential to the future of our company and our mission.

A leader, an organizer and a visionary, Christopher helps maximize IMRIS’ efficiency and prepare us for what’s next – while establishing the stability that allows our teams to innovate boldly. His work ranges from FP&A and business development to process-improvement and supply-chain management.

While much of his role is behind-the-scenes, Christopher has a profound impact on IMRIS’ mission: to elevate the human experience. With his guidance, our investors and our partners have confidence; our company has the ability to grow and evolve; and our employees have the opportunity to elevate the human experience for the patients, surgeons and hospitals we serve.

Kristi Timmer – Vice President of Global Customer Service

Kristi brings over 20 years of operations and technical services leadership within the medical device industry and healthcare. Most recently, she worked at Allina Health, where she held a project management role, and prior to that she spent the majority of her career at ACIST Medical Systems, where she led their Global Service Operations team. Kristi will help IMRIS continue to build upon our current successes and lead us through key improvement opportunities. Kristi is an accomplished professional who brings strong leadership and industry experience to IMRIS.
