Stereotactic Adapter

With the stereotactic adapter from IMRIS, clinicians can perform surgical planning imaging in the VISIUS Surgical Theatre on the patient after they have been placed in the surgical position.  The unique adapter integrates with the IMRIS flexible head coil and head fixation system so that assembly and removal of the imaging equipment is simple and easy.

The stereotactic adapter streamlines workflow for stereotactic procedures in the VISIUS Surgical Theatre in several ways: 

• Frame-localizer scan occurs in the OR, allowing for rapid transition from stereotactic planning to the surgical procedure
• Eliminates travel between imaging and surgical departments, which also improves the patient experience and eliminates risk associated with transporting anesthetized patients
