Enabling ideal positioning in true intraoperative environments

For pinned surgical procedures, head fixation devices (HFDs) for IMRIS iMRI and iCT applications are designed to provide outstanding image quality from intraoperative scans. They are constructed of robust materials that provide stability and durability for a wide range of adult and pediatric patients using MRI and x-ray imaging.

HFDs support the unique ability of the IMRIS Surgical Theatre to limit moving the patient during the procedure by enabling an optimal patient position for surgical access that is also maintained during the intraoperative scan:

  • Patients can be positioned in prone, supine, and lateral positions
  • In prone position, the patient’s head can be set lower than the table
  • Low profile design of the HFD provides more flexibility to position the head in the iso-center of the scanner
