8 Channel Phased Array
Seamless Interface
As a company dedicated to excellence in surgical imaging, IMRIS is engaged in a continuous program to develop and produce a family of proprietary RF coils for all supported applications and procedures. Our goal is to provide RF coils that are optimized for surgical functionality and work flow, while providing absolute state of the art image quality. The coils interface seamlessly with the Siemens MR system.
Optimization
Our current RF coil, optimized for cranial neurosurgical procedures, is an 8-Channel phased array design.
The coil mates with the IMRIS Head Fixation Device for procedures where the head is pinned or with a supplied arch when head fixation is not required.
Ease of Use
The IMRIS Split Array Head Coil, uniquely designed and optimized for cranial neurosurgical procedures, is an 8-channel RF receive coil in a split array design.
Key features of this Coil include:
Delivers a high signal to noise ratio resulting in superior imaging uniformity
and quality.
Coil is pre-tuned and pre-matched to 50 ohms.
Detachable upper coil with a wide vertical adjustment range between the
coils allowing for easier placement of the patient. Upper coil is easily
removed for surgical access and is replaced for imaging, while the lower
coil may remain attached to the 3-Pin Head Fixation Device for most
procedures.
Fully integrated with the new MR-compatible 3-pin Head Fixation Device
designed specifically with a high degree of flexibility in patient positioning to
optimize imaging.
