IMRIS is the only company in the world with the technology to transport a MR scanner on a ceiling-mounted rail system between an operating room and a diagnostic room. Using the patented IMRIS Magnet Mover technology, surgeons can obtain diagnostic-quality images without moving the patient.
The IMRIS Hybrid Operating Suite consists of one of more operating rooms adjacent to a diagnostic room. The operating rooms are specifically designed for multi-modality use with a specific focus on imaging modalities such as MR, CT, and angiography. Our expertise is in safely integrating imaging products into the operating room environment, with additional features such as regulated airflow, radiofrequency shielding, and a robust system of safety protocols.
